Dear Operation: Military Matters
This email is to express my gratitude on behalf of the Soldiers. The care packages you send to us are extremely valuable and very well appreciated. Through your donations and support you are boosting the moral of our troopers and therefor you effectively contribute to the Combat Readiness of the Troops. These young men and women are doing an amazing job in very difficult conditions and in one of the most dangerous place in the world. The moral is good and it is even greater when I open the care packages to share the items. We usually divide the boxes per items/categories so Soldiers can “shop” and chose what they want and need. I can’t describe the gratitude I feel when I see their faces lighting as they search and find something they really like. Their experience with the local population has a very powerful impact on these young troopers. They are infantry men and women, strong, professional, and passionate about serving the Country. And yet they feel very humbled when they see the life conditions of the local population, especially the kids. They definitively learn to appreciate every little things they have and to further cheer our nation’s values as they fight for them. And they do also appreciate what you and your team are sending to them.

I had the fortune of receiving one of yalls care packages. It is heart warming to receive support from folks like yall while my friends and I are away from home. I really appreciate the support, and it blows my mind that something so incredible could have started from Graci’s efforts.
Please continue to support our troops. The commitment and sacrifice required is tough to explain, but it is felt as much at home as it is here, away from home.

I want to thank you soooo much for the care packages!! Everyone received one and they absolutely loved it. It was like CHRISTMAS and the other military guys could not wrap their head around the fact that random people would put together such care packages and pay to ship them overseas to people they didn’t know. They said how much they respected the US for having that kind of support and love and said their country would never do that and the citizens usually give the military a hard time. I am so grateful for you and your family, especially your daughter who had the thoughts to put together such a wonderful thing! GOD BLESS HER AND WHAT SHE IS DOING!

I wanted to extend my most sincere thank you for all of the products and goodies that were sent my (our) way. It was an amazing gesture on you and your organizations part that came at a perfect time of year for Soldiers. There are 32 Soldiers that work with me in my building and another 125 right next door. I can assure you that everything was given out to an extremely appreciative Soldier. The amount of support is amazing, and we are humbled to know that people that we have never met, care so much about our well-being. Thank you again for the care packages we have received already. I am currently at a base which does not have a store to buy things at. If we don’t bring it with us, we depend on care packages for it. Your packages have helped us to stock the shelves of our “Free Market” where soldiers come to get items they need or snacks to enjoy.

I received your very thoughtful care packages. Me and my guys were excited to see the much needed items (esp. the shampoo – I haven’t had shampoo out here in quite a while).
